Dr. Jennifer ChaDr. Jennifer Cha
Dr. Jennifer Cha is the President of the Dental Implant Institute of Las Vegas. She is a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Board of Oral Implantologists, one of only three dentists in Las Vegas to be awarded this esteemed honor.
A resident of Las Vegas for over 30 years, Dr. Cha graduated from UNLV with a B.S. in Biology and then received her D.M.D. degree from Washington University School of Dentistry. Dr. Cha has extensive post-graduate experience, having completed both a Masters Degree in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Periodontics from Northwestern University Dental School.
Dr. Cha utilizes her expertise in dental implants, both surgical and restorative, and specifically in full mouth reconstruction of complicated dental implant cases, to offer the most advanced care to her patients through a revolutionary procedure combining 5 surgeries into one surgical visit that is less invasive, less painful, with a faster healing time and the highest rate of success.
Dr. Cha is also an accomplished cosmetic periodontal plastic surgeon, and was voted by her peers as a top periodontist and best female dentist in Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Life, The 215 South, and The Summerlin magazines.
In addition to her busy practice, Dr. Cha is active in the several charitable organizations in Las Vegas. She is a Gold Level sponsor for the American Heart Association, and also contributes generously to the Diabetes Foundation and the AIDS Foundation. She is on the advisory board of Clark High School, from where she graduated, for AMSAT, a math and science program for advanced students.
Dr. Cha also is a sponsor of the 4 Christ Mission, which through her patronage, has been able to build and support several orphanages in Mexico.
She is a published author in numerous scientific journals, and has received the Rear Admiral Kevin F. Delaney's "Keeping America Strong" award, as seen on the special television series, The Heartbeat of America, and presented by William Shatner.
Dr. Cha is on the advisory board of The 1st National Bank of Nevada, serves as a Medical Advisor for Your Health Magazine and is part of The Peer Review for the Journal of Periodontology.
Dr. Leon ChenDr. Leon Chen
Dr. Leon Chen is the Founder and CEO of The Dental Implant Institute. Dr. Chen is world renowned for his development of the techniques of Hydraulic Sinus Condensing™ which was developed in 1995, and his Vertical Translation™ for Root/Implant Coverage, and Vertical Translation™ for Vertical and Horizontal Augmentation techniques, which were developed in 1997. Through his Hydraulic Sinus Condensing™ and Vertical Ridge Augmentation invention, he developed a 5-in-1™ surgical procedure for complicated cases which allows a doctor to combine five surgeries, which previously took 16 months for the patient to heal, into one surgical visit that is less invasive, less painful, with a faster healing time of only 4 months, and the highest success rate. For ideal cases, Dr. Chen developed the 15 Minute Implant™, which is performed using the special patented drill he invented for this procedure. He revolutionized the field of implant dentistry, and through his inventions, has changed the dental textbooks on implants. Presently, Dr. Chen is focusing his efforts on Implant Complication Management™.
Dr. Chen is a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists; He was a clinical instructor for the Implant Departments of Harvard University, Northwestern and UNLV. He is presently a visiting instructor for the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Chen is a featured podium speaker for the Academy of Periodontology, The International Implant Symposium, The International Congress of Oral Implantology, The Quintessence International Symposium and The European Federation of Periodontology. He was nominated to participate in the advisory Board of Scientific Council for the German and Italian journal of Implantology and Periodontology. He is also an editor for The International Magazine for Oral Implantology, and locally has served as a Medical Advisor for Las Vegas Health magazine. As of 2007, he also is part of The Peer Review for the Journal of Periodontology.
A preeminent educator who has placed over 18,000 implants in his ongoing career, Dr. Chen has lectured extensively about dental implants both nationally and around the world. He holds several patents for the implant and surgical instruments associated with his revolutionary surgical techniques.
Dr. Chen is involved in numerous philanthropic endeavors in Las Vegas. He has donated land and a building to the Adat Ami congregation to use for their synagogue. He is a Gold level sponsor for the American Heart Association, and a generous contributor to the Diabetes Foundation. He is a member of the UNLV President's foundation, the Asian Chamber of Commerce, and has been a Medical Advisor for Las Vegas Health magazine.
Dr. Chen also sponsors the 4 Christ Mission, which through his patronage, has been able to support several orphanages throughout Mexico.

Myron NevinsMyron Nevins, DDS
Myron Nevins, D.D.S., is the editor of The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry and Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nevins is a past president of the American Academy of Periodontology where his contributions have been recognized with the Gold Medal and the Master Clinician Awards. He is a Professor of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, a Clinical Professor at the Temple University School of Dentisrty and Adjunct Professor of Periodontics at the University of North Carolina. He maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and implantology in Swampscott, Massachusetts.
Joseph FiorelliniJoseph Fiorellini, DMD, DMSc
Dr. Fiorellini is Professor and Chair of the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. Prior to joining Penn Dental Medicine in October 2005 he was at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he served as Vice Chair and Associate Professor of the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection and Immunity; Head of the Division of Periodontology; and Program Director of Periodontology.
Throughout his tenure at Harvard, Dr. Fiorellini also maintained a private practice in periodontics and implant dentistry. His areas of research include the relationship of genetics and periodontal disease and studies related to periodontal regeneration and implantology. Dr. Fiorellini currently serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Periodontology, the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He has authored more than 50 manuscripts, reviews, and textbook chapters, and his research awards have included National Institutes of Health and International Association of Dental Research travel grants, The American Academy of Periodontology Young Investigators Award, The Academy of Osseointegration Research Award, and The European Association for Osseointegration Research Prize. He was also the recipient of the 2005 E. Bud Tarrson Research Award in Oral Plastic Surgery from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
He earned his DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1990, and in 1993, was awarded a DMSc degree in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Periodontology from Harvard as well.
